Last week one day while Haberer Brothers were backing up with their truck they accidently came in contact With the rear of Mr. Jacob Haberer's new Chev. coach and doing consider- able damage by dinting in the rear part, of the body. Mr. Kipping who specialises on this work, however was put on the job and straightened up the metal, and a trip to the duce shop, and everything will again be as it was. , Real fine rains visited these parts over the' week -end, and one of the best "soakers" we have seen in many a day was the result. This will gre- atly help the late grass and fall wheat, and also make the plow run much easier. We are however ex- periencing very warm weather for this time of year, last week was a record for heat in the middle of Sep- tember. But before long. we will be putting fires in the stoves to keep as comfortable. Mr. Wm: Lamont, our eproininent citizen has had some improvements made to his dwelling by improving the veranda.
