The weather continues very dry in
the immediate vicinity of Zurich, as
very little rain has fallen for the past
month. Farrners are finding difficulty
us plowing their land for fall wheat,
and fail plowing will soon be here a-
gain when considerable moisture i is
required. Considerable wheat has al-
ready been sown, in fact we know of
a field that is up nicely,
Word has been received from the
Hydro Electric Commission at Tor-
onto, that the rates for the ensuing
year for the Zurich system will re-
main the same as last year. Appar-
ently, the Commission is satisfied with
the way things are going, and a
raise in rates would not be very pop-
ular with these hard times facing the -
power users.
