Kitchener, were week -end visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Milford Schilbe and family were week -end visitors with friends at Kitchener, spending Sun- day at Burlington beach. Mrs. Jacob Zehr, of Beaver Falls, .Nevi* ltork State, is visiting with her two daughters, Mrs. Chris. Schwartz entruber and Mrs. Moses Erb, on the Bronson Line. Mr. Garfield Witmer of the .Baby- lon Line spent the past week at Pres- ton, Kitchener and Waterloo, taking in the big Assembly of the Evangel- ical church, at the latter place. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Koehler and children Harold and Shirley of near Hensall, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Erb, of the Bronson Line, spent the week- end at Baden and Kitchener, and are this week taking in the Toronto Ex- hibition. 27 members of Goderich's Octog , enarian Club (all 80 yrs. and over) gathered at St. Patrick's Park the other day for the eigth annual re- union. Since the club was organzen in 1924 death and sickness have who- ught hovac in the ranks, for only one who was present at the first gather- ing turned up on this occasion. This was Jas. 1VIacVicar. Three other or- iginals were unable to be present. Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Klopp and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Klopp attended the funeral of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Herbert Klopp, held at Welland on Wednesday of last week. The late Mrs. Klopp was ill only a short time and the news of her death came as a shock to her Zurich relatives. She is survived by her husband and one daughter. Messrs. L. Schilbe & Son of town have recently been appointed as local distributorsof repairs for the Deer- ing farm machines, or known as the International- Harvester Company, and keep a good supply of all parts on hand, and will run it in connect- ion with their feed and seed and coal business. The stock of parts was last .week moved from Mr. J. E. Druar's implement shop on Victoria Street, to Schilbe's block.
