In last week's issue we published
an article regarding a euchre party
held at Mr. Midi. Hoffman's place,
and in which Mr. Samuel Deitz of
town participated as a winner. But
Mr. Deitz advises us that we were
badly misrepresented, as he was not
present at Mr. Hoffman's party and
consequently did not take part in the
games mentioned. We accepted this
item in good faith thinking it to be
right, but apparently it proves not so.
We most certainly welcome all good
news items in our coulmns, but do
motappreciate items that prove to
be false, and if anyone wishes to play
a joke on the other fellow, please do

Advertising pays! So says Mr.
Henry Clausius of the Blind Line, as
last week he had a number of small
pigs for sale, run an ad. in the Her-
ald which went out at noon and about
the middle of the afternoon, through
the ad. he sold the entire lot of young
"porkers". Neat time you have some-
thing for sale, just try this medium'
and then note results.
