Swiss Fur Farms 'Thrive
Since the first fur farm was started

the number of fur animal raisers has

City of Berlin Runs Farm
Berlin.—Although Berlin with its
more than 4,000,000 inhabitants sug-
gests anything but agriculture, its
municipality awns and farms 49,400•
acres within the city limits.
The principal crops are potatoes
and carrots, of which. 28,600 tons and.
17,600 tons, respectively, were har-
vested last year, Grains, hay and
feeds brought tbe total yield to 55,000
tons,
This year's yield is expected to show
a considerable falling off because of a.
cool, wet Summer, which has retarded
and stunted grains.
