Opening of New Church
Knox Presbyterian church, Bay-
field, was formerly opened on Sunday
last with large congregations at both
services, many being unable to gain
admittance and were seated outside

occasion. The new church has been
erected by a great deal of work and
sacrifice by many of the members but
they have received gifts for the furn-
ishing of the church and also financial
aid from Presbyterian. congregations
in the surrounding towns. The total
amount of the monetary gifts presen-
ted at the Sunday services was $325
The call to worship was given by
Rev. C. E. Dougan, of Clinton and
the invocation by G. A. Peddle, the
student minister.
