A goodly number from the village attended the annual Wurm Picnic at Crinnan Grove, near Sarnia on the shores of lake Huron, on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John Wurm and da- ughter, Dorothy of Toronto, are vis- itore at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Hess. They took in the big Wurm picnic on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Rice of Seaforth, were Sunday visitors at the home of the former's sister, Mrs. `C. Eilber, their two daughters who spent the past week with Mrs. Eilber, return- ing with them. Mr. Wm. Lamont made a business trip to Crediton on Thursday.
