NOTICE is hereby given that any
person who calls or telephones for the
fire fiighting apparatas to proceed to
a fire outside of the limits of Zurich
Police Village, will be held respons-
ible for any damage that may occur,
either to the driver and oecupants of
truck, the apparatus, or to property
in Zurich while the same is out of the
village. The reason for this. regulation
is that the truck may be badly dam-
aged and the driver and occupants
lulled or .injured while proceeding to
a fie over the country roads, or a
fire may break out in the Village
while: the teach is out of town. .

the late John Geiger at Pigeon, Mich,

Monday and Tuesday of this week

is here, as the weather is unusually
warm.
A goodly number from the village
attended the annual Wurm Picnic at
Crinnan Grove, near Sarnia on the
shores of lake Huron, on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Wurm and da-
ughter, Dorothy of Toronto, are vis-
itore at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.
P. Hess. They took in the big Wurm
picnic on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Rice of Seaforth,
were Sunday visitors at the home of
the former's sister, Mrs. `C. Eilber,
their two daughters who spent the
past week with Mrs. Eilber, return-
ing with them.
Mr. Wm. Lamont made a business
trip to Crediton on Thursday. Mr.
Lamont advises us that Mr. Henry
Eilber has recovered from hiss illness
last winter to the extent that he can
