Mr. Consitt re- ported receiving 100 feet of fire hose recently purchtsed from the fire hose Co. of Kitchener and were in good order. William Buchanan of the village, met with an accident during the past week, which might have proved very serious. He was harrowing on his, farm a mile northeast of town, with three horses, one very high spirited, when in turning at a corner of .the field, one of the lines broke and in jumping to catch hold of the brok- en line, this horse took fright and in running away began kicking, strik- ing Mr. Buchanan on the Body but fortunately no bones were broken or any bad wounds inflicted. Wilds passed away on Thursday afternoon at the home of his brother, Mr. Felix Wilds at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 29 days. He had been in failing health for some time. Besides his widow he leaves to mourn one son and two daughters residing in Michigan, and two brothers, Mr. Felix Wilds and IVIarquis Wilds of Dashwood.
