County Court
The June sessions of the County '
Court and General Sessions of the
Peace will be held at Goderichom
June 9th, at which Judge Costello iA
,scheduled to preside. So far there are

two cases 'listed, one jury and on
non -jury.
The Blju Theatre, at Chesley, which.
has been operated some 23 years as
a moving picture show was closed af-
ter last Saturday evening's picture
had been run off.

John Boeckholt was sentenced to
three months on a charge of intimid-
ation and was sent up for trial on a
Charge of agrivated assault. He is a
farm hand, from Holland and was em-
ployed by A. J. Todd, of Hay Town-
ship, and the offences were in con-
nection with his. efforts to collect wa
ges which were, in dispute.

on. the farm of C. E. Groves, Huronroad,
road, when. good prices were realized
A purebred cow brought $100 and 2-
year-olds $70. A four-year-old horse
brought $85, but an. aged equine
went for $33. The implements brou-
ght satisfactory prices. The farm it-
self was bought by B. Walters of HOI-
mesville for $6,000. This propedty,
consisting of 93 acres was sold ten
•years ago for $9,000, an indication
of the decreased farm values.
