against the 1931 Assessment Roll. A
few thanges in ownership were, made.
A communication from the Deputy
Pneviacial Treasurer showing that
the amount of $190.68, being the
portion of railway tax due the Town-
ship of Hay to October 31, 1929,
was used in paying the maintenance
of epatienst from Hay Township in
Ontario Hospitals, was ordered filed.

On Friday the 29th of May, the
children, grand children and great
grand children gathered at the home
of mr. John Hey, Sr., to celebrate
with him his 80th Birthday. The af-
ternoon and evening were spent in
games and music. One remarkable
feature of the gathering was that all
Mr. and Mrs. Hey's six children we-
re present with their families which
included all the grand children and
great grand children except one. Dur-
ing the evening Mr. Hey was present-
ed with a lovely gift from the family
Mildred Hey read the address and
Kathleen and. Margaret Hey made
the presentation. A lovely supper
was served on the lawn. The Stelck
family and James Denomy supplied
the music for the evening.
