In Zurich it usually is observed begin- ning June lst. But there seems to :be at present a question mark as to whether it veal be observed officially in Zurich or not this summer, as we understand some business men are not so much in favor of it. And we will not pass any comment pro or con in regards to the matter, as it is of little interestto a newspaper office who publishes on Wednesday afternoon, and cannot join in with the other citizens in observing the afternoon in recreation. Whether or not the half holiday will be observed in Zurich this summer will be purely a matter for the business men to de- cide.
