The J aTf holiday season will now
soon be here again, and is being ob-
served in some places this month. In
Zurich it usually is observed begin-
ning June lst. But there seems to
:be at present a question mark as to
whether it veal be observed officially
in Zurich or not this summer, as
we understand some business men are
not so much in favor of it. And we
will not pass any comment pro or
con in regards to the matter, as it
is of little interestto a newspaper
office who publishes on Wednesday
afternoon, and cannot join in with
the other citizens in observing the
afternoon in recreation. Whether or
not the half holiday will be observed
in Zurich this summer will be purely
a matter for the business men to de-
cide.

Re - surface
old walls and
ceilings
with Gyproc
HERE is a wallboard that does not burn, made
from gypsum rock into sheets 4 to 10 feet
long. 4 feet wide and / of an inch thick. It is
used for interior walls, ceilings and partitions.
As well as being fire-resistant, it has structural
strength, insulation value and is draught and
vermin -proof. Use Gyproc Joint Filler for seal-
ing the joints between the tall, broad sheets of
wallboard.
When you are "doing over" any room in the
house or adding new ones in the attic or base-
ment, use Gyproc for walls and ceilings because
you can nail it directly over the old surface.
Gyproc is also an excellent base for Alabastine,
Gyptex or wallpaper.
Gyproc is Canada's pioneer non -burning gypsum
wallboard. Ask your nearest dealer for full
details and a Gyproc direction sheet. Or write
us for the FREE booklet, "Building and Re-
modelling with Gyproc". 374
