Jarrott and daughter, Miss Annie, of Hillsgreen, ncently visited On Sunday morning, April 19th the barns on the farm of George Armstrong two miles southwest of Hensall, were destroyed by fire. His little son, Harry and his niece, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cole- man of London, were playing in the barn with matches and set fire to the 'straw. A few minutes later Mr. Arm- strong noticed the blaze and succeed- ed in getting all of the live stock out of the building. The drive shed which was next to the barn was also con- sumed with nearly all the farm im- plements which were in the shed. A bean thresher on the barn was also destroyed, also a quantity of hay and grain. The Hensel]. Fire Department was called and quickly responded and ceedec in saving• the house.
