an aeroplane wreck. The young men
left for London iarport on Saturday
afternoon and flew up to Hensel/ to
visit friends and landed in Harry Sol-
dan's field. After spending some
time here they again took off and
after rising about 200 feet in the
air the machine stalled and fell to
the ground, completely . wrecking it.

Death of Louis Restemeyer, Sr.
The reaper of death claimed an-
other of the outstanding elderly men
of the conununity, when Mr. Louis
Restemeyer, Sr., was called to his
eternal reward on Friday, February
27th, aged 79 years, 9 months, and
4 days. About a week ago the de-
ceased suffered a paralytic stroke
from which he never recovered, and
the end came only as a great relief
of his sufferings. He is survived by
three sons, Henry and Louis of the
14th con., Hay Township, and Otto
Restemeyer of Dashwood. His wife
having predeceased about a year a-
go, also his daughter Mrs. Chrict.
Burmeister of the 14th, Hay, and a
son, Mr. Ed. Restemeyer of the Bron-
son Line, Hay, both have predeceas-
ed their father the last few years.
The funeral was held on Monday aft-
ernoon to the Lutheran cemetery on
the Bronson line.

his work last Sunday at Goshen,
Blake and Varna churches, after an
absence of two Sundays through ill-
ness.

Gundry visited the farm and made
an 'investigation. They determined
that deceased had shot himself thr-

rifle which he purchased at Dungan-
non a week ago. McIntyre was a well
to-do farmer, well known in the sec -1
tion, where the news came as a
great shock to neighbors. He was in
his 67th year.
Robert Norris, well known agriculit
wrist of Perth County passed away 1
at his home near Staffa on Tuesday'
last from heart trouble. The deceased'
was born about 65 years ago on the,
farm on which his death occurred.
Though never a rugged man, the late
Mr. Norris had enjoyed good health.
Mr.. and Mrs. Henry Golding, of
Staffa,, quietly celebrated their 64th
wedding anniversary en Febe 114'th'..
Mr. and Mrs. Golding canoe to Canada
from England 56 years ago and set-
tled in the Township of Hibbert, wh-
en they have since resided. Mr. Gol-
ding was born March 28, 1841, and
will celebrate his 90th birthday on the
28th of March, while Mrs. Golding
vas born in 1838 and celebrated her
33rd birthday on Tuesday last.
