Presentation
Approximately forty members of
the Ladies' Aid gathered at St.
James's Lutheran parsonage, at
Elmira, on Tuesday afternoon, Dec.
30th and pleasantly surprised Mrs.
(Rev.) L. ICalbfleisch, when a dozen
cut glass goblets were presented to
her, in appreciation of her services.
A dainty supper • was served by the
ladies, after which hymns were sung
and a pleasant social evening spent.
The presentation was made by Mrs.
John Oppertshauser and a very ap-
,propriate address read by Mrs. 0.
Hollinger, to which Mrs. Kalbileisch
suitably replied.
