Man is Sentenced
In County Police Court at Goder-
ieh on 'Tuesday last, Henry Ileiber, of
Hay Township, was sentenced by
judge J. L. Killoran to serve three

A Productive Farm
The report of Mr. John Jacob, th,
keeper at the County Home at Clin-
ton, showed the •fQilowing fine report
at the Huron County. Council last we-
ek; 5,000 pounds of onions raised,
and $4,029.60 of live stock sold, 370
bushels of mangolds raised, GO bask
ets of tomatoes, 500 head of cabbage,
510 bushels of potatoes, 20 bushels
of beets, 50 boxes of black currents,
87,707 pounds of sugar beets, 30
bushels of carrots, 700 bushels oats.
150 bushels mixed grain, 27 tons of
nay, 260 bushels of turnips, 25 bush-
els of beans and 8 barrels of apples.
Other statistics show that on Decent•
ber 1st, 1930 there were 88 inmates
(52 males and 36 females), 14 admit-
ted for the first time durinb the year,
13 deaths, 1 absconded and 2 dischar-
ged. 682 inmates have been admitted
since the opening of the Home. The
inmates admitted during the year
were from the following municipalit-
ies: 1 from rilay; 1 from Stephen; 1
from W. Wawanosh, 2 from McKi;lop
1 from Exeter, 1 from London, 2
from Goderich, 2 from Clinton and 3
from Seaforth.
