ZURICH FALL FAIR
•
Ideal weather prevailing on Tues-
day contributed greatly towards the.
'snaking of another good Fall Fair of
dao. The inside departments were
114:tactically all well filled, although
sere of the vegetable and horticult-
wired lines were not as numerously
(displayed as in some years, this was
•probably due owing to the dry season
jPeultry was well represented, as well
:as :Horses and cattle, while there was
ran unusual showing of sheep and
:swim'. The midway with its. string
ere t "talkers" howed a godo variety
,esi" amusement, and considerable
money was spent in this way. The
at receipts were up to last year,
=rot the Society found no falling off
a-11.ring to no horse races this year,
•exileich saved the Board about $200.
five nurse money, but some of this was
eepent in ether attractions. The soft
hall game at the close of the after-
sneseri!s program between Grand Bend
aud _Exeter, resulted in the score of
11.2•-5 for the former team, and was
a big attraction, as well as the horse -
:she pitching contest which was also
keteresting. Summing up, we can
1p1t1t the 1930 Fair down in history as
acne classed among the best.
