ZURICHH,E
AL..D
of St. P'eter's church held their Cor.
pus Christiprocession on Sauble
Line. It is an annual feast in the
Catholic church. The words Corpus
Christi in latin mean, the Body of
Christ in English. The feast, com,
meniorates solemnly the institution
of the Blessed Sacrament at the last
supper. Catholics believe that Christ
left to his apostles and to their suc-
cessors the power . of changing bread
and wine to his body and blood. This
most sacred bread, called the Host,
or as Catholics would say the true
body and blood of Christ, is, carried
in procession amid the singing of
hymns to do public hoz-image to
Christ their king.
