Miss Gertrude Weber was a visitor
to London on Thursday.
Born -At Hohnesville, on May 8th
to Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Jervis, a
1 daughter, (Helen Audrey.)
Mr. Ward Fritz made a business
trip to Windsor this week, returning
with a new Ford car.
Mr. Wilmer Deering of Shakes-
peare, was a Sunday visitor with Mr.
and Mrs. C. 0. Smith, of St. Joseph.
Mr. and Mrs. John Albrecht were
at London visiting their daughter,
Rose, who is taking treatments at
the Ontario Hospital of that city.
Miss Elizabeth Leibold, accompan-
ied by Mr. Robert Twamley, of Strat-
ford, spent the week -end at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Leibold, Baby-
lon Line.
The St. Joseph Fishery has set
their pound nets and have already en-
joyed a number of fine lifts of real
fresh fish, which just suit the taste of
all fish lovers.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. I3. Bender, of
Detroit, are visiting relatives in the
village. They have been at Grand
Bend getting their summer cottage in.
readiness for the season.
Perch fishing at the lake has again
become qute popular, and during the
cahn, and warm weather the past
week, some real nice catches have
been made.
The concert given in the Town
Hall, on Wednesday evening last by
the. Young People -of Grand Bend,
who gave a good account of them-
selves, as the program was excellent,
although the attendance might have
been larger.
Lawyer Max. Denomme, accomp-
• anied by his friend, a Crown Attorn-
Iey, both of Detroit, were week -end
visitors with friends here, staying at
• the home' of the former's father, Mr.
Louis Denomme of St. Joseph.

Mr. Wellington Johnston, Proprie-
tor of the Dominion .Hotel, advises us
that one night recently a party took

late of the village of Dashwood, in
the County of Huron, Laborer, De-
ceased. 99
NOTICE is hereby given that all
creditors and other persons having
claims against the Estate of the said
Elias Brenner, deceased, who died on
the 21st Day of September, 1917,
are required to send full particulars
of such claims duly verified to the
undersigned Executor of the said
Estate on or before the 30th day of
May, 1930. After which date the
Executor will proceed to distribute
the assets of the Estate, having re-
gard only to the claims of which he
then shall have notice.

When calves are getting skimmed
milk with clover or alfalfa hay, a
very good grain mixture. is 300 Ibs
wheat bran, 300 lbs. ground oats
300 lbs. corn meal and 100 lbs. lin
seed oil meal. Some prefer rolled
