• Mr. A Edighoffar has • recently
leased for the summer months, what
is knovin as the Barber Shop in con-
nection with the Imperial Hotel, at
Grand Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Edigh-
offer will in the matter of a few
weeks move to the Bend and will oc-
cupy the dwelling quarters in con-
nection with the barber shop, and we
hope they will enjoy a good season's
business.

Mr. and Mrs. Barker, Mr. and Mrs
Joseph Wickens of Ingersoll visited
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. • Ed
Stelck, 14th con. on Sunday. Mr.
and -Mrs. Wickens will remain over
for a couple of weeks and visit fri-
ends here. .
The Bank 'of Montreal has just re-
cently issued a booklet on the pres-
ervation of meats and vegetables for
future use. It is indeed a master-
piece in its line', and every housewife

get a copy of this splendid booklet.
Rev. John Strempfer, of Fort
Morgan, Colorado, who was pastor of
St: Peter'e Evangelical church, Zur-
ich; from 1887 to 1894 will preacn
the German sermon on Sunday morn-
ing. The elder members of the ch-
urch will probably still remember
him, under whos-e pastorate the pres-
ent parsonage was built, and will
look forward to hearing their old pas-
tor preach again. In the evening the
service will againbe taken by the
pastor, Rev. E. Turkheim.
Rev. R. Whiteside Evangelist, of
Toronto, accompanied by Mr. Leon-
ard, Evangelistic Singer, also of that
city, are conductinga two -week's
campaign of services at the United
church, at Bayfield, commencing on
Sunday last, and thefr meetings arr
held every evening- excepting Satur-
day. eve. The programme put on by
these two well known men is well
worthy of coment, and the public are
cedially invited to attend, and re-
ceive of these blessings.

Miss Christina Klein was a daugh-
ter of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. Klein
She was. born in Baden, Ontario, Jan-
uary Oth, 1855, was baptised and von.
