The clean-up season, as well as tho planting season is right • in our midst at present, and the people are asked to co-operate with the council; and have everything cleaned up as soon as possible. There are, sorry to say, a number of bad looking places along the roadsides in the village, which could easily be made much more tidy. Don't wait till the officer of the law comes and compells you to clean-up, but have some taste and go at it and o it right now. Mr. C. Eilber, local constable, had very busy day in the village on unday, as a goodly number passing hrough town disregarded all speed irnit laws, going through town from irty to fifty miles. an hour and the- eby endangering all pedestrants on he streets.
