Wreckers
A certain business concern adver-
tises itself as the world's "Greatest
Wreckers." It's rather a large claim
To wreck an old building and replace
it with a new and more serviceable
one is desirable, but wreckers of mor-
als and noble Christlike ideals will
meet an •unspeakable woe in due
time, Many wreckers of the one time
social purity and beautiful christian
character in others are threatening
the whole structure of civilization.
There are legitimate wreckers. Autos
wear out and need to' be scrapped;
houses become unfit for occupation,
but the most .powerful, hoinish and
menacing. wrecker wrecker makes
constant, insiduous and demoralizing
attackupon the best' in civilization
morality, religion and the church.The
world's greatest wrecker is organized
crime, dope, strong drink, selfish,
sensual gratification war and divorce.
These things exert devastating aix!
destructive power upon the flower of
the youth of our day and are a vis-
ions enemy of all that is beautiful
and good. If we are under the do-
minion of selfishness and meaness we
are part and parcel of the force that
undoes the good and enthrones the
evil. Do you care?
