Mrs. Flaxboard Passes
The reaper of death called another
of Zurich's old and 'respected resi-
dents to her eternal reward on Sun-
day March 16th, in the person of Mrs
August Flaxboard, aged 82 years and
16 days. Deceased had not been en-
joying her usual good health for the
last two years or so; having lost of
her facultys, which made her a great
care to her daughter, Mrs. L. Kraft.
However the great Providence knows
best the extent of our time, and
when such a time is called we must
all answer the call. She was a good
citizen, a loving and affectionate
mother in the home, and one could
not help but love her if acquainted.
Her husband, the late August Flax -
board predeceased her in death about
20 years ago, and she is survived be-
sides her two sisters, Two sons, John
and Henry Flaxboard of Zurich; also
seved daughters as follows: Mrs. P.
C. Kalbfleisch, Mrs. H. Fleischauer,
Mrs. H. Howald, Mrs. L. Kraft, Mrs.
M. Meidinger, Mrs. C. Hey all of Zur-
ich, and Mrs. Hy. Staubus of Dash-
wood. The funeral was quietly and
privately held on Wednesday after -
loon from the borne of Mr. arid Mrs
Louis Kraft, to the 1,,itheran cemet-
ery. Rev. E. Turlcheint, her pastor,
