The large Huron County snow plow passed through the village one day recently. It was engaged in op- ening up the Blue Water Highway; and was attached to a large motor truck. A second truck with w:ider wings attached to shove out the snow to; a greater distance, followed the 'plow, and we are told that in the more difficulty' places the both trucks get behind the plow. We however have not heard of it operat ing this last week, as we think `" it would require much effort to push aside the piles of snow on the high- way at present. The annual Christmas entertainm- ent of the Evengelical Sunday School vas held on Christmas evening, on Wednesday night, and the large aud- itorium of• the spacious church was nicely filled with those people, who usually- attend this annual event. The first part of the program was a number of interesting recitations, ;riven by the kiddies, following by a ery appropriate drill.. Following the drill a pageant was rendered by the various members of the School. This, as well as the other numbers; was very interesting, and much en- joyed by all present. Those in , ch- arge of this r: ork of preparing this excellent program are to be congrat- ulated on this, one of the best pro- grams ever rendered.
