The annual meeting of the Zurich Bible Society was held in the Town Hall, Zurich, on Tuesday evening last, and we think was the most in- teresting meeting ever held as Rev. D. Bright, the local Secretary, gave a very interesting talk on a trip up the Hudson Railway, showing pict- ures of how conditions are in that far away northern district, and how greatly in need is the distrubution of the word of God. One of our local popular citizens after a long auto ride experienced a sore leg from a rather complicated attack of acceleritis, which is a com- mon ailment ,after stepping on the "gas'R.too severely for a length of '.R tiine . • Wever, upon being given the fatherly advise from a friend, this young man hurridly consulted one of the local physician, and in or- der to play "safety. •first" a goodly sizesed `bottle of "cure-all" liniment bt 8a applied in instalments, which un- doueuly will prevent the said from the use of crutches.
