K, Love of, Toronto, spent the week -end under the parental roof. Mr. and Mrs. G. Love were ,visited by friends from Colborne Tp,, on Sunday. Mrs. L. Troyer left Sunday to spend the winter months with her. daughter, Mrs. W. E. Jarrott of Brigden. Mr. Frank Hagan and sister Miss Mary Hagan, of London, attended the funeral on Monday of the ,late Mr. Jas. Carlin of Seaforth. Mrs. M. Denomy of • Windsor, spent Thanksgiving at the home of the Misses Denomy. Mr. Delore Ducharme of Detroit, is spending a few weeks holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Duch- arme. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Masse, and family of Detroit, spent the week -end with the latter's ;I,areaats, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Corriveau, Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Denomme of Detroit, were week -end visitors with friends anal relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Andre Kink and son Luke, also Mr. Theobald and son and daughter of Pain Court, were visitors at the home of iVir. and Mrsfl Joseph Gelinas over Sunday. A large number attended the sup- per and Bazaar in Zurich on Satur- day night, given by the members of St. Boniface church. All report a good time. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Harvey and children of Detroit, spent the holiday with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Denomme. Mr. Gilbert Geoffrey has moved on the farm they have 'rented from Mr. Jos. Bedard, near St. Joseph. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Geof- frey will greatly miss them. Mr. Edward Brisson of Windsor, 2.a11ed on friends here last Sunday. Rev. Father Marchand motored to Tilbury, his old home last Monday. 'The ladies of the Altar Society; .of St. Peter's Catholique church will hold the first card party of the sea- 3on on Thursday night, November 14th. The four best players of each lex will receive good prizes. Sorry to report that Mr. Ernest Denomme, who has been in failing 'iealth for some months, is not im proving as his friends would like_ see him. After the honeymoon the young couple will reside in Hensall The Misses McAllister of the vill• age, received the word of the death of their brother, Alexander McAllis ter, who was residing at Apple Gate Mich. The deceased was well and favorably known in this district, be- ing the second son of the Iate Alex McAllister, late of the Parr Line, of Hay Township. Robt Higgins was a recent visitor with relatives and friends in Detroit.
