Oratorical Tilt.. Spoke on "Relig-'
sous Education" to Evangelical Con-
ference Audience at K -W Collegiate
Auditorium
Miss Edith Greb of Ziirich was aw-
arded the judges' decision in the orat-
orical contest which featured last
night's session of the Conference of
Religious Education Assembly of the
Evangelical Church; at the X -W.
Collegiate Auditorium. Miss 'Greb
spoke on the theme "Religious Edu-
cation." On account •of the fact that
several contestants found it impossib-
le to be present, the .number of par-
ticipants . was considerably smaller
than anticipated. Miss Greb, how-
ever has the distinction of winning
several contests throughout the Con-
ference and as a result, carried with
her the unofficial title of champion.

An accident of much interest took
place on Monday afternoon at Drys-
dale, when Miss Elizabeth Gelinas of
that place was delivering a parcel to
a party on the west side of the road,
opposite their store, and in haste in
returning to the store. did not notoce
a past travelling American car which
was going north, and as a conseauen-
ce was knocked down and badly bru-
ised about the head and face. Dr.
P. J. O'i)wyer, who was attending
the Old Boy's celebration at the ch-
urch, was at once called and gave
medical. aid as soon as possible, and
we are happy to report that the in-
juries are not as bad as first reported
and although it will take some time,
yet we are happy to state that Miss

marriage to Mr. M. Geiger, with
whom she trod life's. pathway for
over 45 years. Five sons and two

they lived hapdily on the Geiger home
stead, Bronson Line, Hay, and for the
last 17 years resided in Zurich. Her
affliction began some 11 years ago,
and .became more serious four years
.ago. During the last three months
she was tenderly cared for at the

Mr. and Mrs. B. Blake Horner, but re-
gardless of all that loving hands,
tender nursing and medical aid
could do to perpetuate physical life,
her spirit passed peacefully away to

a great asset to the building up of
God's Kingdomin the community in
