Mr. A. Mathewson and little dau-
ghter Cielia of Toronto, spent part of
last week at th home of Mr. T. Mey-
ers. Mr. Mathewson was an old sch-
ool mate of Mr. Meyers.
Monday next will be observed in
Canada as a holiday known as Labor
Day, and all places of business will be
closed. The big attraction of this
community will be the Old Boy's Re-
unionat the French Settlement Par-
ish, Drysdale, where there will be
amusement and entertainment galore
for one and all. Whether you are
a former parishoner or not you need
not hesitate in attending, as the same
glad hand of welcome will greet you.
