RePry Truemner Passes
Henry Truemner, one of Zurich's
most honoured citizens past over the
great divide on Friday, August 23rd,
whence no man ever returns to the
present scenes of earth. He was born
on the Truemner homestead', Goshen
line, April 13th, 1859 and lived to be
70 years, 4 months and 10 days old.
His affliction of about a year and six
months duration was quite distress-
ing, particularly the last week, he was
very patient and uncomplaining. His

he shared the joys and sorrows of
wedded life with his companion.
Their's was a good home for sons and
daughters to be reared in to noble
life. One son and four daughters
were given them. The eldest daugh-

eleven years ago: The late Henry
Truemner was a useful member of
the Evangelical church on the Goshen
Line at first, later they worshipped
in Dashwood and now for sixteen
years he lived in Zurich and attend-
ed regularly and, faithfully at Eman-
uel Evangelical Church. He held
various offices of the church and ser-
ved God devotedly to the end. He
was a manly man, a true gentleman
in his bearing to everybody. As a
father he was loving and evemplary.
As a husband he was devoted and
affectionate, as a.eitizen he was high-
ly honorable. As a neighbor he was
friendly, peaceful, helpful. As a
church member, he was an assett,
pillar. He has gone on to reap the
reward of the faithful. Those sur-
viving him are :• His companion, Mrs.
Truemner; three sisters, Mrs. john
Goetz, Dashwood, Mrs. Paul Messner
