Father Stroeder, of Maidstone and the former pastor of the Zurich parish, called on Father Power, on Monday of this week. Mr. and . Mrs.' Chas. Weber,' Mr. and Mrs- Peter Haberer, were visitors with friends in Michigan, the past week, Mr. Alex. Foster, local cement con- tractor, had the misfortune to fract- ure his cerin on Tuesday last while working at a gasoline engine. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Greb and Miss Carrie Brenner of Kitchener, were visitors at' the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Brenner on Monday. Mrs. Harry Wahl and daughter of Kitchener, spent the week -end at the home of her parents, Mr, and Mrs. John Brenner. Last Wednesday evening there was considerable excitement in town whea in front of Mousseau's Garage two cars collided in a bad smashup.
