On Wednesday cif last week he was strl.cken with lockjaw, and was at once rushed to London Iosint- al, for treatments, but the germs had set in so severely that practically nothing could be done, tend the pain he suffered was immense, and death carne only as a relief on Saturday evening. 13e Was a real young gentle man, loved and 'admired by all who knew hint, and • will be missed not alone in the home, but in the 'entire Community. The remains were laid to rest iii the Hayfield cemetery Tuesday afternoon, the, funeral being very largely attended, as friends paid their last tribute to the departed. He is survived besides his sorrowing par- ents, one brother Roy, and three sis- ters, who have the. sympathy of a large circle of friends.
