event in every way was a decided
success.

ZURICH — ONT.
Master or Slave., which am i?
Life as some live it, is a tangle of
threads and ends and twists. A con-
fused mystery, without order or mean
ing or guidance that snakes for ach-
ievement. The great paramount pro-
blem of life is' whether I shall be
a success or a failure. All persons
desire success, but not all are agreed
as to what constitutes succuss. It is
not enough to desire success or long
for it, we must earnestly will it into
being. We can have anything we
wish :for, within reason, if we will
pay the price. To be successful, we
Must be master of ourselves and of
envioroning circumstances. A per-
son who is a success must be bigger
than his business with all its accom-
panying problems and its bewitching
charms of prosperity. We must reso
lutely will to make progress. It does
not come by chance. Everybody is
a master or else he, or she is master-
ed by inordinate desires which are
our undoing.
