A. GREAT TRIBUTE
If you are ever so fortunate as to
visit the National Capitol at Wash-
ington, you will find many things
there to thrill you. Brut none, perh-
aps, as stirring as one picture that
hangs as a permanent; gift to the Am-
erican people and a fitting tribute to
one of the most glorious deeds in all
our nation's proud history. This
wonderful picture bears the simple
title "WE"; and as its name suggests
depicits the gallant flight of Colonel
Charles A. Lindberg from New York
to Paris ---the flight that thrilled the
world, and gave it probably its most
loved hero of all. -time. And the best
part of all this is, you can have a
handsome copy of "WE", printed in
twelve colors and measuring eighteen
by twenty-four inches, to hang in
your own home. You cannot buy the
picture at any price. Itmay be had
only through the Youth's Compan-
ion as its free gift to you with a
year's subscription to the magazine.
In its new form as a monthly magaz-
ine, The Companion itself has more
to oft'er- • than ever before --a `"full
book -length novel complete hi each
issue; serials and short stories; feat
ure articles., contests, puzzles, poems
recommgendations of books and mo-
tion pictures, and special departm-
ents for both boys and girls covering
their own favorite activities. In
order that every home may enjoy the
inspiration of the famous picture
"WE", we make the following liberal
offer: 1 The Youth's Companion, 12
big monthly numbers, and 2. Two
extra numbers to new subscribers or-
dering within 30 days and 3. A
copy of "WE" in 12 colors, framing
size 18x24 inches. All for $2. THe
