GRAND BEND
• One of those happy events occured
on Wednesday last when Mr. Thomas
Baird motored to the:.home of Mr.
and Mrs George Mason and took
their only daughter, Adeele and "vis,.
ited the Rev. J. M. Coiling at the
manse. At three o'clock Mr. Coiling"
completed the ceremony that made
theca man and wife. After a motor
trip to Mr. Senior's at Exeter, they
returned to the home of the bride's
parents, where a hot goose'supper a
waited the wedding party. After
we11-fillled tables had been relieved
they all.wended their way to John
Mousseau's house where about two
hundred friends and'neighbors gath-
ered to wish the happy couple a long
and prosperous wedded life. Games.
and dancing were indulged in until
the wee sma' hours of the morning.
Many and costly were the gilts that
were received showing the very high
esteem in which th couple are held
the community. They will reside
in the village. the bride and groom
were supported by Miss Shelby and
the bride's brother Lawrence Mason.

according to the adjournment of ,
Court of Revision of the Jeffrey Dra
in The fllowing appeals were furth-
er disposed or:: Simon Hoffman,
Lot 10, Con. 10, assessed 94 acres
instead of 100 acres, Lot 9, Con. 10,
.assessed 51 acres instead of 55 acres.
Fred 'Regier and others, appeal dis-
missed.
The following resolution was adop
ted ---That • the assessments of the
Jeffrey Draid be confirmed as now
assessed and that by-law No: 9, 1928
be read the third time and finally pas
sed and that the Court of Revision
to consider appeals on the Jeffrey,
Drain be closed.
In the afternoon the Council islet to
consider the regular monthly busin-
ess. The members were all present.
The minutes of the last meeting were
adopted as read.

DEATH OF HARRY ROHDE
The many friends and acquaint-
