The Giant Stock Reducing Sale of
Merchandise at the general store of
T. L. Wurm, and which sale comm-
enced on Saturday, has met with big
success, and many are the individuals
as well as whole families, who have
been made real happy as a result of
the cheap buying they were permit-
ted to do. The time is rapidly pass-
ing along, and if you have not as
yet made your purchases, it will pay
you well to hurry and get your sup-
ply while the demand is good. Act
quick yourself, and tell all your nei-
ghbors and friends about it also, and
you will be doing them a great a
great fovor.
\A real touch of winter weather
greeted this part of Ontario over the
week -end, and there was also consid-
erable frost prevalent, which chang-
ed most of the flower plants that we-,
re still living and active, into a mass
of rubbish, and as far as plant life is
concerned, we must wait for the sun
till she has travelled to the south,
and will return 2gaiii in the spring'.
and the rather long, and manatonous
cold winter is about at the door, and
while it seems a long time cold, yet
it makes it possible to appreciate the
comfortable summer all the more.
Farmers in some localities are exper-
iencing considerable difficult in gett-
ing their fall plowing done in read-
iness for the spring. The fall wheat
in general looks very good this fall
and is about ready for the winter.
