The 4th annual convention of the
Y. P. S. of Huron Presbytery met in
Grand Bend recently with a registr-
ation of 155. The morning devotion-
al exercises were conducted by Rev.
A. Sinclair of Hensall, after which
reports of the various committees
were given Rev. McDonald opened
the afternoon session. This was fol-
lowed by parellel discussion in the
following groupes: Ch. Fellowship
by Rev. Moorhouse, Exeter; Missions
by Rev. J. Walker, Dungannon; Citiz
enship by Rev. Mav Parr, Goderich;
Lit. and Ree., by Rev. R.. Cummings,
Benmiller. Mr. H. M. Mandigo, of
Stratford gave a practical talk on
"Overcoming Handicaps" and Mr.
W. G. Medd of Exeter presented a
brie report of the Religious Ed.
Dept., of the General Assembly in
Winnipeg. The Y. P. S. of Main St.
United Church, Exeter, opened the
evening meeting with Mr. F. Wild-
fong in the chair. MissV. Hogarth
gave a short scriptural talk. After
the installation of officers by Rev. J.
M. Coiling, Grand Bend, a very fine
and inspiring address was given by
Rev. W. P. Lane, Seaforth on the
"New Citizenship".
