NIr. William Lamont, including a
number of •the officials of 'the Hay
Mutual Fire Insurance Company, at-
tended an interesting case in the
High Court at Goderich on Tuesday,
When Mr. Owen Geiger of Hensall
had taken legal action on the said
Company for full recovery of loss of
a barn near Hensall last summer,
which had been insured for $2,000.
The dispute arose owing to Mr.
Geiger having stored flax in the barn
without getting permission from the
Company. ' After hearing evidences
for. a few hours, the judge decided
on the Company paying Mr. Geiger
$1450.00, and each pay, their own
costs. - • . :, r•
