.The fowl supper held' at the Evan-
gelical church last Wednesday was
in every way a decided success, with
the exception of the weather being
unfavorable; which undoubtedly de-
layed a goodly number from attend-
ing. HoweVer,,regardless of the oc-
casional downpour of rain and hail at
times, there was an attendance of ap-
proximately. 950 People present, who
all partook of the wonderful repast
that was so amply prepared for by
the good people of the congregation.
Immediately after. five the tables in
the large dining hall became filled,
and continued full till nearly at a-
bout nine o'clock, when the last of
the hungry were fed. The proceeds
of the event amounted to consider-
able over $800.00. This will help
greatly in financing the year's bud-
get for the year,, and has been a
means of socially getting together a
large number of people. Harvey,Mc-
