Brokenshire and children of Windsor, spent a week -end with the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Lawson. Mr and Mrs. Chas. Kelso, of De- troit, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Haist, Jacob Gaiser and other relatives. Mrs. JacobOrt, who is the mother of Mrs. D. Mcisaac, .spent a few we- eks with her daughter here. Rev. E. S. Hiscocka is attending the United Church Conference at Walkerville the past week, owing to his absence. there were no services in the Crediton United church on Sunday, June 3rd. A Strawberry Social will be held on the United church property on Thursday evening, Jnue 7th. Supper from 5.30 followed by an interesting program. The familiar face of the late Mr. Christian Beaver, who died' at the Toronto Hospital recently; will be greatly missed on the streets of Cre- diton. These old citizens are pass- ing along.
