On Thursday morning, March
22nd; there passed away' at , his
hen te" on Main Sf., William Pfaff
in his 68th year. He bad been
ailing for one week with heart tro-
uble, up to that time he was al-,
•ways about his work at the farm
of his son on the Lake Road. Mr.
Pfaff was born in Hay Township
in 1860 and in 1890 iwas married to
Mary Ellen Schwalm also of Hay
Tb'c reship. He conducted a meat
market at Dashwood for a number
of years, moving to a farm on the
South Boundary of Hay in t1900. He
was a member pf the Evangelic-
al church 'for 30 years and for a
.number of years he took an active
part lin the Sunday School. He is
survived" by his -• wisdom, 3 sons

He had gone to the barn to do
the chores for the night and drop-
ped dead, being found later. He
was in his 58th year

out to keep the roads in repair

the laying of the dust. Mr. Snell
estimates' according to contractor's;
