Coaling System Again Wins Out Jew Star Car driven 158 miles in low gear takes only pint of water at end of trip mother gruelling low gear test to which a New Star Car was submitted as again proven the stamina of "the aristocratof the low -price field". :A few months ago_ a New Star Coupe was driven for 140 miles in low car -with excellent results and now a New Star Coach has gone one better, rora Parkhill, Ont., to Stratford—a distance of 158 miles—this ' coach as •driven while locked in low gear, with the gear shift lever removed.' t was a non-stop trip in so ,far as the engine was concerned although I be automobile was stopped In Ailsa Craig, Lucas, Exeter, Dashwood, osier., Mensal, Brucefield, Bayfield, Goderich,Clinton, Seaforth, Mitchell (land then Stratford.. During the entire trip the test car ran freely and iyithou't the Least lgn of distress. The average speed for the 158 miles was 18 miles per .our, the highest speed being 22 miles per hour. It used one pint of water, one and a half pints of oil and 13/ gallons of gasoline.
