ers, was defeated by R. F, Merner,
'while in Hallett Tp. Matthew A.rm
strong, reeve of that ,municipality
for nine years, fel 'before Ernest
Adams, One of the most famil-
iar figures in -county ;public life
Owen Geiger, of Hen'sall, ,was re-
turned. by acclamation a week a-
go ,Har eturn was somewhat less
strenuous than 'a year ago, when
he was forced tog to et}'e electors
three times before his 'election was
finally decided.
Parkhill -Gordon Turnlea11 was
elected reeve by a ,majjority of 30
over his, -'opponent, Hugh Brown,
W. Newton is major of thhe town,
while the counceltors were elected
by acclamation.
Usborne—J. Ballantyne was el-
ected reeve, and for Councillors;
H Berry, B. Williams, .W. Skinner
and Dan Dew.
Bendall—Owen Geiger, Reeve by
