A Binder Twine Test.
Editor of THE HERALD: Two
weeks ago there appeared an item,
in your valuable paper which was
written by Chas. Grob concerning
C. Hartleib & Co's. binder twine
being short in measurement. I.
bought Salmon Tag twine of C.
Bartleib & Co. at 10 cents per
pound, stamped 650 ft. to pound
My neighbor bought of Chas. Grob,
at 11Xe, stamped as above. He ex-
changed a ball with me to make a
test, but he never gave his decision.
Suspicion arose with inc. 1 made
slutilar test and discovered that
my twine tied 20 sheaves more
than my neighbor's. The balls
were equal in weight. The above
statement is a bona fide fact. The I
farmers can now judge whose
twine was the cheapest.
I ata in no way interested in the
welfare ot the dealers, but C.
Hartleib & Co. have been amused
wrongfully by their competitors
and I 1iko to see fair play.
I am, yours truly,
DAVID t3cr titsait"ii.
