W, Farneorab, re- specting the East branch extension of Ila;y- swamp drain was read, and after considering it fully, was ad- opted by the council and the clerk was advised to prepare a by-law accordingly for next meeting of oouncil. A report of the engineer, regarding the cleaning out of the east and west branches of H. S. D. was received by the oouncil, the clerk was instructed to notify all parties interested, that the report will be read at the next meeting of the council, Oct. 20th. inst. J. Musseau gave notice to the oouncil, to the effect that certain portion of Black creek branch of H. S. D. needed cleaning out badly, the reeve, Mr. Consit and Mr. Batt- ler were appointed a committee to look into the matter and if necess- ary, let the contracts for the -work. Be -law No. '7, regarding the clean in out of Zurich drain, was pro- -visionally adopted and the clerk was instructed to have the same printed and served, or delivered in accordance with Sec. 22 of the Drainage act, and that a court of revision he held en Saturday the 3rd, day ef Nov, at 10 o'clock a. m. The clerk was advised to adver- tise for tenders re the cle,aning out of Zurich drain, tenders to be for each lot separate, or for the whole work. By-laws Nos. 4, 5 and 6 were duly passed.
