The Hensall Band have decided
to disband. Tlio expenses of Main-
taiping it were too much for the
boys, and some of the playeiee have
left Hensall. Thus it was with the
Zurich and Dashwood bands. All
went well for a year or so, when
the interest began to lag, solve of
the players left, funds wore; lacking
and at last they "busted up."
Mr. Joseph Regier, of the Goshen
lino, has received= his gasoline en
gine•. it is manufactured by the
Sylvester Co. and has a tnaxirnum
of six -horse power. Mr. Regier will
rase it for pumping water, cutting
straw and feed, chopping,. etc. This
is no experiment as farmers in dif-
ferent parts of the county have
them in use and in a few years they
will be a, cerumen thing. The cost
of one developing six•horse power
is about $300, while a one to two -
horse powor costs about $12t$,
