taste, arrived home on Tuesday and
is again at work with his old boss,

Miss Mina. Doan arrived home
from Wotaskiwin, in the Territor-
ies, on Saturday. Her rest at home
was short, having to commence her
duties, at Hensel', on the opening,
of the school, at 0 o'clock an Mon-
day morning.
A very enjoyable Dancing party
was held at the home of Mr. Henry
Steinbach, on the 14th, on Thurs-
day evening of fast week. Quite' a
number from Zurich and vicinity
were present and enjoyed. them-
selves hugely.
Mr.:Matt. Ellwood, the genial
and popular Tonsorial Artist, of
iiensall, was in town on Sunday,
accompanied by the ever -welcome
Donald Burns, and spent some hours
plesantly, as guests at the Domin-
ion House.
Mr, and Mrs, Andrew Mittelholtz
entertained some 50 or 60 of their
friends at a dancing party at their
residence in the village on Tuesday
night which was a very pleasant
affair and all are loud in praise of
their host and hostess.

Mr. Albert Zottle, of the Blind
.Line, has been confined to the house
for two or the weeks by an attack of
quinsy. It is said to have been of
a. very severe nature and caused
hills much pain until operated upon,
It may be some days a -et before he
is allowed the freedom of an„ open-
air life again.
The entertainment in the Evan-
gtelicaal-church. on New year's eVe

was crowded and great interest
