great interest.

been visiting friends in Michigan
have returned to spend a few weeks
with us before leaving for their
Western home. •
Mr. Robt. N. Douglas having
disposed of his team has now re-
placed them by another. , There is
all kinds of money in horses this
winter and those having any to
dispose of are taking advantage of
the high prices.
Mr. Albert Denomy of Drysdale
has engaged with Mr. John
Johnston for the season.
Mr. Robt, Allen Jr. has parted
with his driver to Mr. MoClinchy
for a snug sum and is now trying
speculating.
Mrs. Slierritt has sold her lot in
our village. Mr. G. S. Howard, our
teacher, is the buyer.

bush property from J. Beacon, Jr.,

Hodgens and B. Philips, of Hensall,
were here on business Tuesday.
D. Reid, of Goderich, returned
home Tuesday after a week's visit
here.
Miss M. Porterfield, of Marnock,
is the guest of her sister, Mrs: Jas.

James Ferguson left for Port
