Master Elgin Hess sustained a broken collar bone and other in- juries, on Saturday, the result of a fall from a horse he was riding. Mr. John G. Erb, has purchased the 40 acres on the Bronson Line, from Mr. Godfrey Nicholson of Crediton. Mr. Erb has now 240 acres. Mr . Bowen of London gave a very interesting address, in the Evangelical church, on Tuesday evening. The officers of the Bible Society were also elected at the Meeting.
