The local team met their Water loo; at Grand Bend on Thursday afternoon last in; a hotly contested aanae with the Campers. In the first three innings our boys .looked to have things easy, brit in the 4th the campers score! 8 runs, the re- sult of a number . of costly errors by our boys. The balance of the game was very even and at the end the score stood 13-10 in favor of the Campers, which means that the coveted trophy will remain at the Summer Resort for another year. The visitors were a fine, gentlemanly lot of fellows and put up a great game, and at the end of the 5th innings it looked like anybody's game. In the 6th and 7th however our boys began to bat the visiting pitcher's outshoots and scored 8 runs. Hurley and Harvey Weber pitched a. fine game for the locals and II. H. Little played a star tome behind the bat.
