The members and friends of the Ladies' Aid of the Evangelical church, had the pleasure of listen- ing to an inspired address, by Mrs. (Rev,) J. P Eauchof Tokio Japan, on Tuesday afternoon. The Lad- ies were deeply impressed with ' the address. The speaker referred to some of the pleasant but also unpleasant things in connection with EEvnngalising the people of the sunrise kingdom. Mr, and Mrs. William Rader of the. l lth Con. have the sincere sym- pathy of a large circle of relatives, friends and neighbors in the loss of their only daughter, a bright little girl of four years of age. The child % death occurred on Thurs- day evening, and the remains were interred in the Lutheran cemetery on Sunday afternoon, and were fol- lowed by a large number of sorrow- ing friends. The funeral services were held in the Lutheran church, which was packed to the doors. The pastor of the congregation, Rev 0. 0. J. Maass delivered a very` impregsive funeral sermon and the choir of the church rendered seve- ral appropriate selections.
