DASHWOOD Dashwood suffering from an injustice of Hay; Doubtless all the readers :of this paper have'heerd the reports con- cerning smallpox in Hay • and Step- hen. It seems to centre'b 'n Dash - Wood, however, perhaps because* it is easier to slay,, than " #Iay and Stephen." It seems that some Months . ago a resident of Hay, who vial work- ing in the vicinity of Mitchell, visited his friends end 'carried to them a filthy disease. One after another took' it, re- covered and gave it to many more, some being residents of Stephen. . It thence spread to:Dashwood, whets it was on the 'authority of Dr. Bell, pronounced smallpox. The town now has five cases, five more than it ishould have, and we think five more than it would have had, if the Hay autho- rities had taeken stringent meaeur- es to have its stamped out, when it first originated. Whether it be real smallpox or not, it is a disease which oan easi- ly be conveyed from one to another and should not therefore have been permitted to get such a holdon the community. -Com. But 1 can now surely kill the pails and pangs of this deplorable disease. In Germany -With a Chemist in the City of barmstadt--I .found the 3.1.et ingredient with which Dr. Shoop's Itheutnatic .Remedy was made -a perfected, dependable prescription. Without that last ingredient, I successfully treated many, many cases of Rheumatism; but now, at last, ituni- fornaly euros all curable cases of this heretofore much dreaded disease. Those sand like granular wastes, found in ItheuntaticBlood, seem to dissolve and pass away under the action of this remedy as freely as does sugar when added to pure water. And then, when dissolved, those poisonous wastes lireely pass from the system, and the cause of Rixeu eatism is gone forever. A reactionary storm period is central on the 24th, 25th and 26th. The disturbances of this period will culminate on and touching the 25th. General and heavy April showers will be natural, attended by very decided lightning and thunder. Our readers, especially those whose interests are most at strike, will not forget the fact that destructive hail storms are apt to accompany electrical clouds at this and other April periods. If ap- proachinti thunder clouds take on a decided copperish hue, it will be safe to anticipate hail stones and use such means as are available for the protection of exposed glass and other fragile, perishable pro- perty.
